Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your GardenSwap account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this, depending on whether you still have the app installed.

Option 1: Delete from within the app (fastest)

Open the GardenSwap app, sign in, and go to Account → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm, and your account will be permanently deleted right away.

Option 2: Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email support@gardenswap.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. Please include your username if you remember it. We'll verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes, and cannot be undone or recovered:

• Your profile, including your username, bio, and profile photo
• All of your listings and listing photos
• Your messages and conversations with other users
• Your forum topics, comments, and votes
• Your follows and followers
• Your login and account credentials

What we may retain

We don't retain a copy of your personal data after deletion. In limited cases we may keep minimal records (such as transaction or support correspondence) for a short period where we're required to by law or to resolve an open dispute or report, after which it's also deleted.
